SPI Announces Sale of Solar PV Project in Japan

SHANGHAI, April 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Solar Power, Inc. ("SPI") (OTCBB: SOPW), a vertically-integrated photovoltaic ("PV") developer, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, SPI Solar Japan GK ("SPI Japan"), has entered into a definitive agreement to sell all of its interest in the land and project development rights for a 6.4 megawatt (MW) solar PV project in Susami City, Wakayama Prefecture.

The sale is subject to several closing conditions, and is expected to close in April 2015.
