Yingli Green Energy Filed Extension for 2014 Form 20-F

BAODING, China, April 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE: YGE) ("Yingli Green Energy" or the "Company"), one of the world's leading solar panel manufacturers, known as "Yingli Solar," today announced that it has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission a Form 12b-25 to extend by fifteen days the due date for filing its annual report on Form 20-F for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2014 (the "2014 Form 20-F").

The Company is unable to file its 2014 Form 20-F on or before the prescribed due date of April 30, 2015 because the Company needs more time to prepare and review its consolidated financial statements as of and for the year ended December 31, 2014 and notes thereto, as well as to complete its assessment of the effectiveness of its internal control over financial reporting. The Company's management anticipates that the Form 20-F will be filed on or before May 15, 2015.
