Worldway's First-Ever Celebration of Immigration Heritage Month Ended

BEIJING, SHANGHAI and SHENZHEN, China, July 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The first-ever celebration of Immigration Heritage Month that Worldway Group launched ended on June 30th. Within one month, the celebration echoed nationally, and has created sensation in the immigration industry.

In honor of the city's diverse immigrant groups, in 2014 Chicago city council designated June as Immigration Heritage Month, an occasion that is now celebrated every year in more than 100 cities and towns across the United States.

In response, Asian 500 member and leading immigration service provider Worldway Group launched the celebration of the first Immigration Heritage Month in seven cities in China including Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Hong Kong and Macau.

In June, Worldway Group received over 100 support letters for the celebration from government officials of the United States, the leaders in EB5 business, three most well known law firms in EB5 field, financial institutions and regional centers. Among them, Mattie Hunter, the State Senator of Illinois wrote "I offer my strong support for the event, and sincerely wish Worldway Group a successful celebration of Immigration Heritage Month."

During Worldway's Immigration Heritage Month celebrations in China, over 60 seminars on US education, US property, US taxation, US financial investment and life for newly arrived immigrants to the US were hosted with the aim of helping potential investors better understand US immigration policy, promoting non-governmental investment in the US and further strengthening economic ties between the US and China.

As part of the celebration, Worldway executives were invited to meet with the Governor and President of the Senate of Puerto Rico, with the executives of Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission in Philadelphia and with the executives of DLJ Group in New York. The delegation also visited the construction site of Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-95 Interchange project and the Four Seasons Resort & Golf Club Puerto Rico which are both promoted by Worldway Group. The meetings and visits extend the celebration from China to the United States.

These seminars along with the three projects Worldway Group is promoting will best prepare Chinese investors to get on the last train to get green card before the immigration policy changes on September 30th.
