HONG KONG, July 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Prophet, a next generation consultancy, announced today that it has hired Jacqueline Alexis Thng as its newest Partner, based in its Hong Kong office. Jacqueline will help Prophet expand its Asia footprint and capabilities with her more than 20 years of consulting experience.

Jacqueline has consulted for many prominent, innovative and winning brands, and her new role will focus on building Prophet's presence in the region. Jacqueline will join Prophet Hong Kong from Singapore.

Her clients have benefitted from her passionate drive and deep insights, which have resulted in mould-breaking and bold branding solutions. In turn, these have led to significant growth in business success and higher brand profiles for clients such as Octopus (including naming), Asia's first lifestyle smart card system for Hong Kong, Bank Mandiri, Indonesia's leading bank and Vertu, the world's first luxury mobile brand.

Michael Dunn, CEO at Prophet said, "This appointment is a great example of how we are continuing to invest in Asia and help clients to grow their businesses by instigating customer insight driven strategies. Our clients will definitely benefit from Jacqueline's drive and foresight in building brands."

"I am thrilled to join Prophet. It has always been a leading consulting force in our industry, and one that I truly admire for the work and talent pool. It is my aspiration to grow with Prophet reaching out to more brands, especially in Asia, and transform them into bold, winning and most preferred brands of the future," said Jacqueline.

Prior to Prophet, Jacqueline was CEO of Lexis Branding, where she helped transform many Asian brands into market leaders. While serving as Managing Director of The Brand Union (WPP), she led them to become Brand Consultancy of the Year. Jacqueline started her career as Senior Consultant with Addison Design Consultants (WPP).

Jay Milliken, Senior Partner of Prophet Hong Kong, said, "Jacqueline is one of Asia's most sought-after brand strategists, and we're delighted that she has joined Prophet Hong Kong. She will bring her knowledge and expertise from working in Asia for over 20 years, plus her entrepreneurial experience from growing two hugely successful agencies."

As a prolific speaker at brand forums and universities, Jacqueline also contributes actively to global and regional media on brand strategy, brand trends, marketing and integrated communications. In her new role she will become one of the key spokespersons for Prophet Hong Kong. A little trivia -- Jacqueline is a trained fine arts artist and once owned a fashion label that was shown in Mercedes Australian Fashion week.
