The Connected Home: 2025 Think Tank will connect Frost & Sullivan experts with cutting edge industry thought leaders who will identify the potential around the connected home and the overall connected living space. Participants will find themselves refreshed and updated on the hidden attributes of the Connected Home industry as they:

  • Discover new technologies facilitating change in the market
  • Uncover how data will be gathered, analyzed and presented to end users while kept secure
  • Decipher if the average consumer will embrace this change, reject it or simply find aspects of it becoming indelible parts of daily life.

"Tomorrow's connected home is here today.  As the epicenter of daily life, through connected living we can manage our health, travel, social calendar and work schedule, in a way that will become increasingly seamless, ubiquitous and subtle," noted Frost & Sullivan Partner and Vice President of Energy & Environment, Robert Gamble. "Ten years ago, would we have thought of 'tweeting' our daily activities, or using a phone to board an airplane? What will become second nature in five, ten or twenty years through the connected home and connected living?"

The Home of the Future executive bulletin will demonstrate solutions and improvements that will positively impact and transform everyday living, in addition to creating untold business opportunities discovered through the connected home.

"We look to explore endless possibilities created by market and technology convergence," explained Gamble. "The session will assist in understanding the risks and rewards surrounding security in the newly connected existence and help those unaware identify ways new technologies will create opportunities in the connected home for business; today and in the future."

This interactive Think Tank will also include a panel of top companies in the industry in a debate to examine what's to come of the connected home. With their backgrounds ranging from energy management, entertainment and networking, the session will discuss the implications of this evolving industry with a focus on green energy, smart apps, mobile devices and smart sensors.

Additional highlights of the event include an eye opening keynote presentation discussing how today's era is the most innovative decade in human history. Vivek Wadhwa, Vice President of Innovation and Research, Singularity University; Fellow, Arthur & Toni Rembe Rock Center for Corporate Governance, Stanford University, will enlighten participants of advancing technologies and how they will disrupt entire industries creating a catalyst into the Star Trek future. Moreover, Frost & Sullivan Senior Vice President, Richard Sear will detail Innovative Business Models of the Future and explore a number of the leading case studies from around the globe.
