TUV Rheinland Smart Tech Solution Unveiled at Hong Kong Electronics Fair

HONG KONG, Oct. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Smart technology is the latest trend in electronic products. In response to strong demand, the Smart Tech Zone has been added to showcase electronic device brands with networking applications and IOT features. TUV Rheinland Hong Kong is the only professional telecom testing laboratory with accreditation from the major alliances of Bluetooth, KNX and ZigBee, and can thus assist manufacturers in adopting smart technology and gaining market opportunities.

TUV Rheinland Hong Kong, Taipei, Shanghai and Shenzhen have been accredited by Bluetooth SIG as Bluetooth Qualification Test Facilities that can provide Bluetooth radio (RF) and core protocol testing services. TUV Rheinland is an officially appointed testing laboratory of the ZigBee Alliance and is involved in formulating all of the Alliance's testing, standards and procedures. TUV Rheinland branches in Hong Kong, elsewhere in Asia (South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and mainland China), North America and Germany also provide ZigBee logo testing for products ranging from the IEEE 802.15.4 radio conformance protocol (ZCP) at the lower layer to public profiles at the application layer. TUV Rheinland's Taiwan and Hong Kong labs were recently established as the first two KNX labs in Greater China to cope with the ever-increasing demand for the testing of home automation products. Our service scope includes interworking and functionality testing for KNX products.
