Before Shanghai, this worldwide exhibition has already been to five cities in North America, five in Europe and Beijing is the first stop on its Asia Pacific tour.

"We are delighted to have been able to draw on the talent of Olivier Widmaier Picasso and to have him in Beijing in person to launch 'Revealed'," says Michel Molliet, Senior Vice President, Operations, Luxury and Upscale, AccorHotels Greater China. "We are also proud to uphold Sofitel's pillar of culture, which together with gastronomy, design and well-being combines into the French art de vivre that flows through our 120 Sofitel addresses on five continents."

Among the prized photographs to be displayed is a black-and-white image of Pablo Picasso eyeing a Dalmatian longing to climb upon his lap; Salvador Dali seen sitting in an animal exhibit at the Paris Zoo; Jeff Koons styling a BMW for the 24 Hours of Le Mans; Pierre Soulages crouching over a work in progress; Kees Van Dongen painting a posing Brigitte Bardot; and other striking images depicting Rene Magritte, Marc Chagall, Fernando Botero, Joan Miro, Jean Cocteau, Francis Bacon, and more.

A Month of "Revealed" Culinary Arts at Sofitel Shanghai Hyland

To celebrate the "Revealed" photography exhibition, the Sofitel Greater China culinary team, led by Eric Costille, Regional Executive Chef Accor Greater China and Sacha, Executive Chef from Sofitel Shanghai Hyland, has put together two art-inspired menus that are available during October to November at Sofitel Shanghai Hyland. The Un Mois en Provence dinner menu will be presented by private booking and Le Gouter en Provence Afternoon Tea at Bar 505 daily takes inspiration from art in their color and presentation, as does the "Revealed" Cocktail available at Bar 505.

French Chef Sacha has curated the Un Mois en Provence Menu (RMB 580+) - a visual explosion of artistic gastronomy that will awaken every sense at October. The four-course menu begins with Clam's and razor shell, citrus fruits dressing, followed by Pigeon and truffle artichoke in light pastry, young cress and Black cod fish tepanyake, salt fish and potato crush with extra virgin olives oil, saffron vegetables. To finish, guests will experience the Mild goat Cheese cake, liquorice, lemongrass and honey.

Curated by Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 Pastry Chef Laem Liu, the Le Gouter en Provence Afternoon Tea Set offers an escape from the city (RMB 188+) with colorful and bright sweet and savory dishes including: Strawberry Gourmet Cones, Provencal Honey Nougat, Lavender macaroons, Anise Financiers, Roussillon Apricot Shooters and more.

The special 'Revealed' Cocktail (RMB 70+) is available throughout the month of October at Bar 505 at Sofitel Shanghai Hyland. Inspired by an artist's palate, the cocktail has deep layers and color that has nutty caramel and chocolate textures with a playful image.

"Revealed" by Sofitel will be on display in the lobby of Sofitel Shanghai Hyland from October 13 and run through to November 2, 2015. Admission to the exhibition is free of charge to guests and the public.
