HONG KONG, Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Since its launch by Si Li Ji Ren Foundation at the end of 2013, Si Li Ji Ren Education Dream Support Program has helped 551 students from poor families get enrolled in school by sponsoring 13 classes in 10 provinces and cities. As of November, 2015, the Program has invested nearly 9 million RMB in direct benefit of recipients.
Si Li Ji Ren Foundation was established to conduct a public welfare program that addressed the most pressing social issues by leveraging the company's unique advantages. Education sponsoring had been known to the public for quite some time ever since the Project Hope. Education charities were still exploring how to best conduct the education support programs so that the recipients can enjoy full benefit.
Si Li Ji Ren Education Dream Support Program made full use of all available resources through cooperating with government, schools, businesses and the media. Schools provided a wealth of teaching resources and expertise in job market; government helped identify eligible recipients; enterprises provided the funding; and the media popularized the program to more disadvantaged people. Such integration of resources ensured that the financial aids were delivered to the most deserving recipients with highest efficiency.
For many students benefiting from the programs, their goal of studying was pure and simple. That was, to build up their skills so that they can feed themselves and their families. In July, 2015, the Dream Class in Bijie, Guizhou Province, the first class sponsored by Si Li Ji Ren Education Dream Support Program, graduated and achieved full employment. This once again proved that program was progressing in the right direction. By sponsoring students to study majors most needed in job market, the program guaranteed that the recipients can lift themselves out of poverty by utilizing their learnt skills at an early stage, thus brought hope to a family or even a region.
Si Li Ji Ren Education Dream Support Program attached equal importance to vocational training and virtue cultivation. The twice-a-year training course on Chinese core values and regimen culture and the public welfare activities organized each academic year were designed to inculcate students with the importance of paying back to society and striving to be a benevolent talent practicing traditional Chinese virtues.
The Program set up 13 Dream Classes in 10 provinces, including Guizhou, Sichuan, Hebei, Hubei and Yunnan. These vocational training classes covered a variety of majors ranging from cooking, nursing, molding, logistics management to landscape technology. By October, 2015, all Dream Classes had taken off to a smooth start and 551 young people from poverty-stricken areas were enrolled through the program.

Si Li Ji Ren Foundation, a private foundation, was founded on December 10th, 2012, upon the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Poverty alleviation and education sponsoring is one of the primary focuses of the Foundation, apart from public health and assistance for the vulnerable and disaster relief. The seed fund of the Foundation, 20 million RMB, was donated by Infinitus (China) Company Ltd., a member of LKK Health Products Group.
