WHAT: FEBRUARY 2, 2015 (London) - LOUIS XIII Cognac, one of the most luxurious spirits in the world, announced original film, starring actor John Malkovich, which envisions Earth one hundred years in the future and will not be released until 2115 to the metropolis. Directed by Robert Rodriguez "100 Years" was inspired by the time it requires to create LOUIS XIII. Indeed, each decanter takes four generations of cellar masters over 100 years to craft. LOUIS XIII is an intricate alchemy of up to 1200 eaux-de-vie, the youngest of which is at least 40 years old.

Ludovic du Plessis, Global Executive Director of LOUIS XIII, was joined by an array of influential celebrities, tastemakers and business luminaries to celebrate the avant-garde cinematographic project in London on Tuesday, February 2.

To celebrate its arrival, distinguished guests toasted to the future and were granted an exclusive trailer from the film while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere at 11-13 Walker's Court. The allure of the exclusive preview was enhanced throughout the night as attendees viewed behind the scenes footage from the film. Adding to the magnetism of the cinematographic project was the ability to admire costumes from the film as they were integrated into the fete and placed on display for guests' viewing pleasure. Guests were invited to experience a glass of LOUIS XIII, and witness an exclusive interview with Ludovic du Plessis, Global Executive Director of LOUIS XIII hosted by revered film critic Jason Solomons. To ensure that "100 Years" remains secure until its official premiere on November 18, 2115, one century from now, John Malkovich placed the film in a state-of-the-art safe, which will open automatically in 100 years when the timing is complete. One thousand guests from around the world received an exclusive invitation to give to their descendants to attend the premiere of "100 Years", on November 18, 2115, at the House of LOUIS XIII in Cognac, France.
