Starwood Hotels and Resorts Completed Successful Starwood EXPO in China

Hotel giant invited customers to participate into Starwood EXPO in the region

SHANGHAI, China, Oct. 13 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Starwood Hotels & Resorts kicked off its unique EXPO in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing from September 22 to 26, 2008, with participation of hotels in China, some fascinating destinations around the world and associates from Starwood Global Sales Office to showcase the Starwood's loyalty programs, latest hotel information as well as brand updates.

The Starwood EXPO started on September 22 from Guangzhou at The Westin Guangzhou, and continued in Shanghai at Le Royal Meridien Shanghai on September 24 before finally reaching the last stop at The Westin Beijing Chaoyang on September 26.

A key focus of the week was to drive more awareness for Starwood brands, existing and new hotels in the China market, illustrate the Starwood growth in the region and the new opening schedule within coming three years as well as update travel agents, Professional Conference Organizer, Destination Management Company, corporate clients and meeting planners on the latest updates on our loyalty programs including Starwood Preferred Guest(R), Starwood Preferred Planer(R) and Starchoice.
