In responding to an invitation from BPF, CAS Ethnobotany Founder and DR PLANT Chief Scientist Pei Shengji led a 15-man team which included renowned artist Yang Zhu, Zhang Jinling, Li Mingquan; DR PLANT Skincare Brand founder Xie Yong. The delegation also visited The Royal Chitralada Project and paid their respects to HE Major General Cholachan. An agreement has also been reached between DR PLANT and the host party on plant protection, cultivation and extraction of the Lingzhi mushroom.

On receiving his guests, HE Major-general Prince Yukhon extended a request to Chinese botanists in a bid to save its dying jackfruit tree. The 300-year-old tree, the only one left in the country, is of great significance to the royal family as it has thrived on blessed water from worshippers to the Buddhas and the royal forebears. After an emergency meeting, DR PLANT set up a "Royal Jackfruit Revival Team" which will be made up of top botanists in China. It is hoped that a "treatment plan" can be presented to the King at the 70th anniversary of his accession to the throne.

HE Major-general Prince Yukhon thanked the delegation for the gift of skincare products and he hopes that DR PLANT products will enhance the beauty of all Thai ladies and the Team will save the royal tree. In return, each member of the delegation received an honorary certificate from His Excellency.
