LANZHOU, China, May 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Last Saturday, more than 250 students, professors, teachers, university officials and heads of associations attended the China Educational Association Technology Awards Presentation Ceremony sponsored by listen financial to receive their awards and attend a forum on handling investor communications and information through social media. The event was held at The Lanzhou University of Arts and Science.
Media students also heard about the listen financial University Investment Challenge which intends to promote proper investment knowledge to students and their public followers by bringing new university talent under the spotlight through social media and television.

The keynote speech from Professor Tu Tao, deputy Dean of Southwestern University was about understanding media and finance in today's world and the importance for students to understand it. He also discussed the objectives of the listen financial University Challenge and the importance of cross market and online financial skills for their career and job development. Students attending this event were given the opportunity to enter this unique competition following the forum session where listen executives were on hand to assist.
The listen financial University Challenge will hold two further on-ground events for financial students later this year in a Q&A style format to see what the student teams have learned during the Challenge online. The finals and Awards Ceremony will be broadcast on TV and other platforms in October and November.
