Huashang Taolue Advertising Campaigns Put Destination China on the Global Stage

NEW YORK, May 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Many of China's biggest tourist attractions and tourism services have boosted their reputations thanks to marketing campaigns by advertising agency Huashang Taolue.

Top destinations including Lushan in Jiangxi province, Liaoning's Red Beach, Shangri-La Potatso National Park, Fujian's Hakka Tulou, Wulong County near Chongqing, Xi Park Scenic Area, Luya Mountain in Shanxi, and services from CMB Credit Card have all published advertisements in People's Daily -- an English language newspaper in China -- and on the billboard of New York's Times Square, showing the world the color and vibrancy of tourism resources in China.

Times Square, with its large outdoor screens and eye-catching displays, is known as the 'crossroads of the world', and in 2011, a film depicting some of China's most iconic images was played there to commemorate the Chinese government's official visit to the United States.

The tourist attractions and the service brands that appeared in the film are some of China's most prestigious scenic spots or emerging tourist destinations. This all comes at a time when the First World Conference on Tourism for Development recently drew to a close in the Golden Hall of the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Co-sponsored by the Chinese government and the UNWTO (World Tourism Organization), and undertaken by the National Tourism Administration and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the conference's opening ceremony was officiated by senior government officials as well as UNWTO representatives.

Tourism practitioners from all over the world gathered in Beijing to join the event, which gave both local and foreign tourism industries an excellent opportunity to exchange their thoughts.

Showing their brand on the world stage when the conference convened, symbolizes that China's tourism industry is picking up the pace and penetrating into the international market.

During the event, the UN deputy Secretary-General delivered the congratulatory letter on behalf of Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, while Mr. Taleb Rifai, secretary general of UNWTO, addressed attendees.

Over 1,100 representatives from 107 countries, 15 international organizations and related Chinese government ministries, provinces and autonomous regions, among which 154 honored guests were of vice-ministerial level or above, attended the meeting to share ideas, build consensus and announce the 'Beijing Declaration', a pledge that depicts a dynamic new vision for global tourism development.
