SHANGHAI, June 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chengdu Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair opened on the morning of June 24th in Chengdu, China. Besides local innovative enterprises, there were 36 international city delegations, including New York from the U.S., Tel Aviv from Israel, Sheffield from England, Flemish Brabant from Belgium and other hot startup cities. Google, Tesla and other international technology giants also came to the fair seeking cooperation opportunities. Participants explored the theme of city innovation. The Silicon Valley High-tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit was held in the afternoon. Iworku took the opportunity and introduced the online application platform.

Iworku.com is a service trading market that focuses on the international trading industry. By gathering talented people from all over the world, buyers can hire overseas sellers to provide local services on the platform, while sellers can sell their skills or time to receive rewards.

By integrating information and supervising the process, Iworku enables buyers and sellers to finish transactions and eliminate barriers created by geography, culture and language, along with other differences in the international trading industry. The mission of Iworku is to allow all small- and medium-sized enterprises to have the opportunity to hire global talent.

There were more than 240 innovative enterprises at the fair covering industries such as Internet applications, electronic information, biological medicine, intelligent manufacturing, ecological agriculture and other fields. Among them they boast more than 1,500 technological achievements as well as more than 3,000 projects. They attracted more than 300 global business elites and VC representatives to come to the fair. The expected turnover from the event is expected to exceed 16 billion CNY.

Chengdu is not only a historical and cultural city with deep cultural heritage, but also an innovative city with the courage to exploit opprotunity. Thousands of years ago there was the Golden Sun Bird. Hundreds of years ago there was the world's earliest paper money "Jiaozi". Nowadays, there is a wave of innovation and entrepreneurship throughout the whole city; Chengdu is establishing its role in this new era.

More than 10 government officers, including Chengdu's mayor, attended the fair and gave important speeches, encouraging Chengdu's small- and medium-sized enterprises to develop actively and inject new vitality into the city by taking full advantage of the resources provided by the government and the platform. One good example would be Hicoffice, an innovation enterprise incubator supported by the government. Companies that have settled in the incubator include not only sharing economy companies such as Iworku, but also VR, big data, cloud computing and other favorable capital projects.

Over the following 2 days, 3 Nobel Prize winners, nearly 10 academics and more than 20 well-known university presidents participated in 17 events including 11 high-end forums and 1 exhibition. Iworku also held some live events. After case demonstrations highlighting the practical applications of Iwoku, the site's operational model was fully affirmed by the delegations.
