GUANGZHOU, China, March 1 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- interzum guangzhou, one of the largest international furniture production trade fairs in China, has seen a sold-out response against the backdrop of exponential growth in the Chinese furniture market. The country has exported US$8.43 billion worth of furniture in the first half of 2006 alone, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics.

"interzum events have traditionally been very fruitful for both exhibitors and visitors. We have seen interzum guangzhou grow from strength to strength as an effective networking and trading platform for the world, and expect the show to open up more opportunities to players in the furniture production trade this year," says Mr. Udo Traeger, Vice President Furniture & Interior Design of Koelnmesse GmbH, the organisers of interzum.

The global enthusiasm for obtaining the most up-to-date intelligence about furniture manufacturing has led to many enquiries about quality technical supporting events at interzum guangzhou. Two visits have been planned, to Dongguan Tongli Wood Co., Ltd., which processes decorative melamine, plywood and laminate, and to Reignmac Machinery Co., Ltd, a woodworking machinery manufacturer which exports to over 30 countries worldwide.
