About IPMC Conference

The conference brings together international and national representatives from industry, hospital, public authorities, research and academy to explore and discuss opportunities and strengths related to precision medicine in the world. A conference that is not only dedicated to offer networking opportunities and foster debate among up to 500 participants from all over the world, but also encourage and support the domestic and overseas bio industry's knowledge sharing, global growth and open innovation through the IPMC Prize competition.

Key Speakers Highlight

Mr. Young Woo Jang, Co-Founder and CEO of IPMC, opening celebratory statement marked the beginning of a long awaited vision. "The IPMC Declaration of the Bold Challenge Movement for the next 100 years, with a mission that is essential to extend and expand the lives and happiness of many citizens around the world," states Mr. Young Woo Jang.

The IPMC Conference's first keynote speaker was Dr. Robert Hariri, Co-Founder of IPMC, Founder and CEO of Celgene Cellular Therapeutics, and Co-founder of Human Longevity; Recipient of the Thomas Alva Edison Award in 2007 for his discovery of placental stem cells and again in 2011 for engineering tissue sand organs from stem cells. A sincere and heartfelt challenge to realise a world in which human beings can live a humanly life through the Bold Challenge Movement adds Dr. Hariri. "I'm an old timer and have operated in operation rooms that were 100 years old. Using new technologies in these rooms are challenging and at times almost impossible. Mr. Jang's vision to bring the latest and greatest technology into an international center that combines precision medicine, clinical applications, and digital health, has been a dream, a dream that I've become addicted to," stated Dr. Hariri.

John Sculley, former president of Pepsi-Cola and former CEO of Apple Inc, participated in the opening session of the conference (Global Insights of Precision Medicine & Beyond Precision Medicine) and spoke on the topic of "Precision Medicine and Healthcare Technology." after a heartwarming congratulatory speech. Mr. Sculley is an entrepreneur and investor in high-tech startups, and he is currently the chairman of PeopleTicker and Vice-Chairman of RxAdvance.

Implementing Precision Medicine Into Practical Life is the subject headline of the second session of the conference where it features medical scholar, professor Leming Shi, and critical thinker, John Nasta.

Dr. Jay Young Chun, MD, PhD, Vice President of Atlantic NeuroSurgical Specialists and Director of Neurotrauma at Morristown Memorial Medical Centre in Morristown, New Jersey, will also join this session and speak on the topic of "Continuum of Care in Precision Medicine". Dr. Chun is one of the few surgeons on the east coast who is adept at surgery with the CyberKnife -- a novel surgical system that enables physicians to treat previously inoperable brain and spinal tumors.
