The new Actix office will be located at Junefield Plaza, Beijing and will host the infrastructure for Actix to demonstrate and support local implementations of the Actix One enterprise solution for the Chinese telecoms market.
Minister of Industry and Information Technology, Li Yizhong, predicted that carriers would invest CNY280 billion ($41 billion) in developing 3G networks over the next two years and this has been reflected in the exponential growth rate in Chinese telecommunications. The recent issue of 3G licences will leave operators struggling to control their network infrastructure and with the boom in subscribers, Actix will see a huge increase in demand for Network Status Management from operators making large investment in new 3G networks.
