SEOUL, South Korea, Feb. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ROWEM, an integrated authentication platform provider (CEO An Taeho, www.rowem.com), announced on February 21 that the company would introduce a new advanced authentication platform at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017 (MWC 2017).

MWC is the world's largest exhibition of mobile technology where leading communication providers introduce new products and innovative technologies. This year, ROWEM will participate in the event with a theme, "The advanced authentication platform that creates new Worldwide Web as well as new world of Cloud."

At the exhibition, ROWEM will introduce Oneshot LOGIN, a multi-function authentication platform, Oneshot PAD, an OOB (Out-of-band), two-factor authentication solution simplifying complicated passwords into two to four-digit password and automatically converting it into different forms for varied purposes, UBIDRIVE, a location based private folder that can be accessed only with the user's smartphones, and Fake Touch, a password trick system with a unique patented technology that provides powerful security.

With Oneshot LOGIN, users do not need to sign up for each website, and nor are they required to enter ID or password to sign in. For instance, a user needs only a single app for online duty-free shopping, without needing to type in password number or flight ticket information each time. ROWEM's technology using a location based user recognition system facilitates use of web services and simplifies complicated authentication processes with a single authentication. Also, users' information is kept in several places to prevent a breach, and the technology uses open API to ensure interoperability with existing legacy systems and services. This is expected to facilitate flexible applications in the fields of FinTech, IoT and AI. Particularly, the company's technology that controls various IoT devices with a single authentication is receiving heightened attention in the market. Also, Fake Touch, a safe and fun password mechanism that safely keeps security even when others are sneaking a glance at your password also draws people's attention.

In Korea, ROWEM technology has been adopted by financial firms, proving its security and convenience. Furthermore, ROWEM successfully demonstrated the unique technology in Roundtable at Telecom Council held in Silicon Valley last December, where many world's leading communication providers attended, and was received well.
