Chubb Life Launches Forever Diamond Plus with Guaranteed Cash Coupon up till Age 120

HONG KONG, March 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Chubb Life, the global life insurance division of Chubb, today announced the launch of Forever Diamond Plus (the"Plan") in Hong Kong. It is a life insurance plan with savings element that offers annual Guaranteed Cash Coupon and non-guaranteed dividends. The Guaranteed Cash Coupon is equal to 7.5% of the latest notional amount for the first five policy anniversaries and 5% of the latest notional amount from the sixth policy anniversary until age 120 of the insured. With a 5-year premium payment term, the Plan may help customers generate potential returns and achieve long-term financial goals.

Apart from maintaining the Guaranteed Cash Coupons and non-guaranteed dividends in the policy for interest accumulation, customers could enjoy the flexibility to withdraw the Guaranteed Cash Coupons and the non-guaranteed dividends (if any) to fulfill various financial needs without surrendering the policy nor affecting the death benefit. On top of the life protection up to age 120 of the insured, the Plan offers the Terminal Illness Benefit, giving customers and their families a peace of mind in the event of terminal illness.

• A Guaranteed Cash Coupon will be paid every year commencing from the 1st policy anniversary. It is equivalent to 7.5% of the latest notional amount* for the first five policy anniversaries and 5% of the latest notional amount from the 6th policy anniversary until age 120 of the insured.

Flexible cash withdrawal to meet your needs

• The Plan provides life protection up to age 120 of the insured.
• On top of the death benefit, at the death of the insured, the sum of any accumulated Guaranteed Cash Coupons and interest and any accumulated dividends and interest will be paid.

Terminal Illness Benefit

• If the insured is diagnosed with a terminal illness and has a life expectancy of six months or less, the policyowner can apply for the Terminal Illness Benefit.
• Once the Terminal Illness Benefit has been fully paid, the policy will be terminated.
