HONG KONG, Mar. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- China Cord Blood Corporation (NYSE: CO) ("CCBC" or the "Company"), China's leading provider of cord blood collection, laboratory testing, hematopoietic stem cell processing and stem cell storage services, today announced that Ms. Yue Deng, Chief Executive Officer of the Company's Beijing subsidiary, has resigned from the Company, effective April 1, 2017. Ms. Deng's departure is for personal reasons and does not reflect any disagreements between Ms. Deng and the Company. The Board of Directors has named Ms. Ting Zheng, Chief Executive Officer of CCBC, to serve as interim Chief Executive Officer of the Beijing subsidiary upon Ms. Deng's departure.
