SAN FRANCISCO, April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Datalog.ai®, an artificial intelligence (AI) start-up that brings human-like conversation to chatbots, virtual assistants, and business applications, announces a strategic partnership with Chris Jaeb, who will be chairing Datalog's Business Advisory Board. Jaeb is founder and CEO of BeWell, and co-founder of Broadcast.com, which was subsequently sold to Yahoo! for $5.7B.
Jaeb's company, operating as BeWell, will adopt Datalog's MyPolly™ natural language understanding platform to develop an online suite of "green" broad-scope services.
"I envision a uniquely organic secure health and information service that allows people to create improved relationships between themselves, their community, and the environment," states Jaeb. "We will connect customers to healthier options powered by MyPolly's online and voice interactive natural language technology. It's the right fit because the intelligence of the system will make doing the healthy thing fun and easy."
Jack Crawford, CEO of datalog.ai, describes the trust within the BeWell community. "As AI brings benefits, we still yearn to keep our individuality. Implementing MyPolly within BeWell's services ensures the confidentiality of personal information."
Chris Palmer, Special Projects Director for datalog.ai, "In BeWell, member searches and activities will not be logged by public network services like Facebook and Google. We will ensure that members can individually control what information is kept private and which data elements are shared."
Malaikannan Sankarasubbu, Datalog CTO, adds that in addition to private cloud installations, "MyPolly is compatible with popular platforms including Messenger, Slack, Telegram, Viber, KiK, SMS, and Alexa, bringing text and voice enabled chat to personal devices, manufacturing operations, automobile convenience features, and other commercial uses. Our near-term plan includes support for major European and Asian languages."
Founded in 2017 by industry innovator, environmental advocate and philanthropist Chris Jaeb, BeWell is developing a suite of trusted, sustainable, and natural broad-scope services. The organization will offer a uniquely secure service that improves peoples' relationship with themselves, their community and the environment.
Datalog.ai aims to be a leader in artificial intelligence technologies that can be integrated within enterprise applications, virtual assistants, and chatbots. Following a $3M private investment, datalog.ai founders Jack Crawford and Malaikannan Sankarasubbu began working on the MyPolly platform in May 2016.
