2017-06-15 06:00 2832

SYDNEY, June 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Following an overwhelmingly positive client and distribution channel response to its new market leading 'Bumper-to-Bumper' Warranty Services, which uniquely includes accidental damage as standard on all new purchases, rugged computer specialist Getac is now offering  existing customers the opportunity to upgrade and extend the Warranty Services.

The Warranty Services benefit differs slightly depending on when the existing unit was purchased:

For all fully rugged units purchased during 2016, Getac owners have the option to upgrade to the full, accidental-damage-included, Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty Services with up to 50% discount. In addition, customers will benefit from a two-month Bumper to Bumper Warranty Services extension and direct access to the Getac online Service System.

Customers registering fully rugged units purchased between 1 January 2017 and 30 April 2017 will automatically receive a free upgrade to the Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty Services, with an additional 2-month extension, and access to the Getac Service System.

In either case, Getac users can access the benefits simply by registering their unit at http://apac.getac.com/support/product-registration.html

"We know it is essential to ensure minimum unit downtime in the field and our new Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty Services is just one more way Getac is supporting its customers," Frank Chen, Senior Director of Getac Global Service Center commented, launching the new benefits. "Under a Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty Services, should an accident occur, our fully rugged users can simply get their unit straight to a Getac service centre for repair or replacement, no questions asked."
