BEIJING, July 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On July 11 Beijing time, a press conference for China's first Robotics Maker TV Competition was successfully held in Beijing. This novel program is a reality show jointly created by the Chinese FIRST® Robotics Competition Association and the Beijing Youth Channel. This is also the first TV show of the FIRST® events in the world. All stakeholders and the media have attached great attention to this innovation.
The Chinese regional champion team, born after the fierce competition, will appear on the final scene in Sydney, Australia on July 12 to communicate and compete with many international youth entrepreneurs on the same stage.
Sponsored by the US FIRST® nonprofit organization, the FIRST® Tech Challenge is an international robotics competition for 12- to 18-year-old children. Since its inception in 1989, it has attracted the participation of students from all over the world.
The official in charge of China's first Robotics Maker TV Competition said that this Robotics Maker TV Competition is a TV-show competition based on FIRST® Tech Challenge, and it will convey Chinese young people's "robotics feelings", innovative thinking and team awareness to the general public in a more intuitive way and in an entirely new way of communication.
