The Chinese regional champion team, born after the fierce competition, will appear on the final scene in Sydney, Australia on July 12 to communicate and compete with many international youth entrepreneurs on the same stage.

Sponsored by the US FIRST® nonprofit organization, the FIRST® Tech Challenge is an international robotics competition for 12- to 18-year-old children. Since its inception in 1989, it has attracted the participation of students from all over the world.

The official in charge of China's first Robotics Maker TV Competition said that this Robotics Maker TV Competition is a TV-show competition based on FIRST® Tech Challenge, and it will convey Chinese young people's "robotics feelings", innovative thinking and team awareness to the general public in a more intuitive way and in an entirely new way of communication. At the same time, it will more effectively promote FIRST® events in China, making the minority events popular among the majority. The organizers also hope that the visit to Australia will promote the learning and exchange between young people in China and Australia, as well as stimulate in-depth collision of the two education systems and cultures through in-depth interactions between the Chinese and Australian teams.

China's innovative model for conventional events is of great significance, as it is in line with the development of time and media communication trends. With people's creative power and courage to explore, Chinese young people are stimulated on their interest and passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Nonetheless, the extensive popularity of TV media can also attract attention from social organizations, related businesses and students, as well as parents.
