Ariya Jutanugarn explains how she got into golf:

"My parents owned a golf shop when I was five years-old, so that's how I started to play golf. I'm going to say that when I was young, there was nothing to do for me. So it was easy for my parents to take care of the golf shop and I just grabbed the iron and started to hit the ball."

On how many majors she can win:

"I work so hard, I feel like it's time to win. I do everything that makes me feel like I'm going to be a better golfer. Right now, I hope I can win more than one, because I won last year, so I hope I make two at least. Still, the one I really want to play good is the US Open, because to me, I think it's one of the biggest majors and the hardest one to win."

On her ability to hit a long ball from a young age:

"I loved to hit my driver when I was young, I hit it pretty far… I think I started to hit two hundred when I was nine."

Annika Sorenstam, regarded as the best female golf player to date, spoke to CNN about Jutanugarn:

"I like her grace on the course, I think she just has a nice style. She obviously has the drive to win and she has the skill to win, and I think she's just trying to get better, whether that is maturing with age or just learning from your mistakes, but really a nice steady climb to the top."
