Winners of the First Wu Zhengyi Botany Awards Announced at the 19th International Botanical Congress (IBC) in Shenzhen, China

SHENZHEN, China, July 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Winners of the first Wu Zhengyi Botany Awards were announced at the 19^th International Botanical Congress (IBC), held at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on July 25. Hong Deyuan, a researcher of the Institute of Botany of Chinese Academy of Sciences and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, won the Outstanding Contribution Award; Gao Lianming, a researcher of Kunming Institute of Botany of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Kong Hongzhi, a researcher of the Institute of Botany of Chinese Academy of Sciences, both won the Youth Innovation Award.
