BEIJING, April 22 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The second China Game Developers Conference (CGDC) (organized by Howell International Trade Fair Ltd.), which is to be held in Shanghai International Convention Center on July 24-26, 2009, has now started soliciting speakers from all over the world, after finalizing its three-day program and 47 public topics.
Mr. Kim Hyung Jun, Art Director of AION from NCSOFT, has officially confirmed his attendance at the second CGDC as one of the Key-Note Speakers, where he is going to give a speech entitled "Starting a new era of next-gen graphics in online game - A Beautiful New World".
Mr. Kim, who was the Director of Visual Design in Lineage and did the art illustration for NCSOFT’s City Of Heroes and City Of Villains, is widely regarded as one of the best art directors in the industry. AION, which was produced under Mr. Kim’s supervision, has received considerable praise and admiration from the players since it started testing two months ago in China Mainland. The game not only stands out in technology but also in game graphics style, environments and characters design.
In the coming CGDC (July 24-26, 2009), Mr. Kim will address his speech on the topic "Starting a new era of next-gen graphics in online game - A Beautiful New World", which is sure to bring the latest game art technology and design ideas to domestic developers especially those game artists. This is expected to boost the art design of made-in-China games.
This year the second CGDC will be held along with the seventh ChinaJoy (July 23-26) and the Seventh China Game Business Conference (CGBC, July 22-26). These three joint events will prove to be the most valuable in both the domestic and international game industry, giving opportunities to industry players from all around the world to display their products, hold business talks and exchange technology.
