HONG KONG, Nov. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- At the 3rd Global Conference of the Cantonese, Lee Kum Kee Group Chairman Mr. Lee Man Tat was selected as the "Global Top Ten Outstanding Cantonese". The event was organised by Global Cantonese Association, Jiangmen Municipal Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, The Jiangmen Municipal Foreign Affairs Office as well as Jiangmen Municipal Returned Overseas Chinese Association with the aim of recognising outstanding Cantonese with immense contribution to the community in multifaceted areas.

In 2013, the "Lee Kum Kee Aeronautics Scholarship" was set up to nurture future talents for the national space industry.
