WIC 2017 is the largest cyber industry event in China, and this year's theme is about openness and sharing the benefits of the digital economy. During the three-day event, Hujiang will offer presentations and seminars to showcase its major product lineup, including its pre-recorded online courses platform Hujiang Online Class, interactive online teaching platform CCtalk, and adaptive oral English learning product Hitalk, as well as the company's education charity program Hu+ Project.

"We are happy and proud to be asked to join the World Internet Conference for the third straight year," said Arnold Fu, founder and CEO of Hujiang EdTech. "We're excited to present our achievements in online education innovation to the world, which will hopefully be something our peers can find inspiring and can contribute to the growth of the global education sector."

The Conference has also invited 50 prominent independent teachers who teach via online platforms like CCtalk to discuss the future of internet-based teaching. Zhu Wei, a famous English teacher in China and also a regular teaching force on CCtalk, said that the technological innovation is very important for the flourishment of online teaching. "Platforms should be specifically designed for teaching, just like CCtalk, and be able to recreate a very real classroom experience," Zhu said.

Hujiang's Hu+ Project was created in 2015 to provide a non-profit online education platform and other resources for elementary and middle schools in rural and underdeveloped areas in China. To implement the project, Hujiang launched CCtalk, a real-time interactive platform that creates an online classroom experience through two-way live audio and video between students and teachers. In the two years since the project's inception, 100,000 teachers across the globe have joined forces and delivered classes via CCtalk to some one million students in China.

Renowned for its technological expertise, Hujiang makes online learning accessible and easy with only a computer with Internet connection required. In China, the act of volunteering to teach in rural areas for a short term is called "supported teaching," and the Hu+ Project offers supported teaching in the Internet era, which is long-term, more efficient and serves more students.
