Get Ride has been beta-testing its platform in Mandalay since 1st January, 2018 and now runs its Mandalay operation with thousands of drivers providing rides to customers with motorbikes, Tuk-tuks, and cars. Currently, Get Ride is not charging any fees from drivers until the end of 2018. As a community-based ride hailing platform, Get Ride will charge fees based on the rate formulated by community of drivers and customers only starting from 1st January, 2019. Get Ride is committed to provide commission-free service for motorbike drivers as an endeavor of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

Greater effort to elevate the living standard of drivers in Myanmar prompted Get Ride to recently create an opportunity for drivers in Mandalay to own three-wheelers or Tuk-tuk as the three-wheelers are quickly becoming a favorite way to get around in Myanmar. "Being a local company led by an experienced team of leadership, Get Ride fundamentally understands Myanmar and truly cares about building a ride-hailing platform that puts safety, reliability, convenience, and long-term sustainability at its heart. In doing so, Get Ride has made a priority to recruit fresh local graduates with little to no work experience in order to create new job opportunities for young Myanmar people, who in turn get proper training on the job and build up this community-based platform from scratch in their own cities," said Nyein Chan Soe Win, CEO of Get.

Get Ride is driven forward with the sole mission to elevate the livelihood of drivers by improving the daily income of drivers and by providing safe, secure, and convenient public transport with the help of technology across Myanmar. Currently, Get Ride is also beta-testing in two other major cities, Yangon and Monywa, and planning to cover 3 more cities before the end of 2018. Its goal is to build up its platform in most of the cities of Myanmar by the end of 2019.
