Local Exhibitors Get Bigger Space

Local exhibitors continue to choose bigger spaces, some up to 300 square meters. The booth tends to be simple and leaves much more space for buyers who will feel more comfortable. Larger spaces allow local exhibitors to show more new models to potential buyers. Local exhibitors are now paying even more attention to the show, treating it as their primary export channel. They are satisfied with the show, especially with various international buyers from many nations and regions attending. This is the only show in China that can secure high quality visitors.

More International Brands

You will meet more international brands in 2007 than ever before. Some choose to exhibit directly; some choose to be presented by their local agents. In the past few years, more and more international brands have found local agents to compete in the huge Chinese market. Big bike makers such as Specialized, Bianchi, Pacific Cycle, and Colnago, hold their big booths in key areas. Shimano takes the biggest area in Hall W1 with the focus of their 2007 XTR product range. Various accessories makers such as Sigma Sport, Mach 1, Buchel, Selev, Thule, Control Tech, Santini, and Selle Royal, are located in Hall W1.

Bike Events: Beyond Business

There are also many bike related events during the show. Besides the normal new product presentations, we've seen new movement in the BMX market. The Chinese National BMX Racing Team will join us during the show and Australian BMX rider Steve McCann will also sign autographs after the X Games Asia.

Business is not the only topic in the show. The show attracts even more bicycle fans, as the premium market is growing steadily in China. More and more retail stores exist in major cities. During our show, Specialized is expected to open their first concept store in the Jinqiao area, a store with more than 300 square meters. Colnago will bring its first "Colnago for Ferrari" 60-year anniversary model to our show also.
