Welcome to the World-famous Exhibition in China for Precision Machine Tools and Die Moulds

-- Invitation to DMC 2011

SHANGHAI, Oct. 25 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The "China International Exhibition on Die & Mould, Metal Processing and Forming Industry", DMC2011 for short, jointly organized by the China Die and Mould Industry Association and Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd., will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from June 2nd to 5th, 2011. Since 1986, when the first Die & Mould China (DMC for short) Technology and Equipment International Exhibition was organized, the Die and Mould industry has had a 25 year history in playing a major role in helping enterprises in areas such as technological exchanges, economic cooperation, equipment procurement, market development, and expansion of trade.

Despite the impact of the global financial crisis, China's die & mould industry has maintained its growth momentum.  China's die & mould revenue in 2009 amounts to RMB 98 billion.  The exports of China's die & mould remain at USD 1.9 billion for the year of 2008 and 2009 in a row, and some products have approached or reached the international level.  After four successive years of imports above USD 2 billion, China market in 2009 again shows strong demand with import totaling USD 1.964 billion. During the first half of 2010, China's total volume for import and export of dies and moulds totalled USD 1,993 million. Imports totalled USD 999 million, and exports totalled USD 994 million.

Driven by China's domestic demand and the cost efficiency advantage of China die & mould in international mould sourcing, China's die & mould industry is expected to grow considerably and consequently generate stronger demand for advanced processing equipment, software, systems and cutting tools.

In 2009, the mould industry in China has seen investment of up to several hundred billion RMB, used to build up fixed assets, with manufacturing and equipment testing accounting for a large proportion of the investment. In 2009, China continued to maintain the status as the world's top consumer and importer of machine tool equipment. China's total machine tool output value reached RMB 401.4 billion, and Germany, Italy and France are continuing to increase spending in China.

The Die & Mould Industry Association of China currently has over 1,500 members, and it's the country's one and only national association for the Die & Mould Industry. Here, we would like to thank all previous exhibitors of Die & Mould China (DMC) for their strong support, and invite manufacturers of moulds, machine tools, software, tools, other manufacturers and related industry associations from your respective countries to attend the "China International Exhibition on Die & Mould, Metal Processing and Forming Industry (DMC2011)" to be held in Shanghai from 2nd to 5th of June 2011.

We look forward to seeing you at DMC2011.
