China Medical Technologies to Announce Results for the Second Fiscal Quarter Ended September 30, 2010 on November 17, 2010

BEIJING, Nov. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Medical Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq: CMED), a leading China-based advanced in-vitro diagnostic ("IVD") company, today announced that it will report its unaudited financial results for the second fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2010 before the U.S. market opens on November 17, 2010. The Company's 2010 fiscal year ends on March 31, 2011.

The Company will also provide outlook for the third fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2010 as well as the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011 in the results announcement.

The Company's senior management will host an earnings conference call at 8:00 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time on November 17, 2010 (9:00 p.m. Beijing/Hong Kong time on November 17, 2010).
