Renren Partners with Recruit to Launch Social Wedding Services

BEIJING, June 7, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Renren Inc. (NYSE: RENN) ("Renren"), the leading real name social networking internet platform in China, and Recruit Co., Ltd. ("Recruit"), Japan's largest HR and classified media group, today jointly announced an agreement to form a joint venture to build a wedding social media that caters to the needs of engaged couples and newlyweds in China. The joint venture will launch a multimedia platform that fully integrates online wedding related social content and offline media, such as magazine and wedding exhibitions.

The new website is scheduled to be officially launched this winter and will aim to becoming a leading wedding online media in the Chinese market.

The Zexy magazine and wedding exhibitions, which are operated by Recruit's three wholly-owned subsidiaries in China (Shanghai Recruit Advertising Co., Ltd., Beijing Recruit Advertising Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Recruit Advertising Co., Ltd.), will participate in the joint venture. Zexy is one of the first bridal information media in China, having accumulated a stable client base, industry know-how and strong brand recognition in the bridal market in China over the years.
