BEIJING, Aug. 20 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- According to the latest reports from the Entertainment Base of China ( http://www.5fad.com ), the tort claim case between 5fad and Baidu will begin a judicial court session in the Beijing High Court in mid-October.

In expectation of the outcome of the trial, 5fad's CEO Roger Wu remains very optimistic, "It is a fact that anyone can download copyrighted songs in Baidu and I believe because of this their 'professional search' will be called into question." Based on his analysis, the outcome of the present case will likely become a precedent and clearly define the validity of the professional search.

Roger Wu said: "5fad issued letters and asked Baidu to delete links, entirely in keeping with the statutory process. Baidu must square up to this just claim. Already thousands of song links have been disconnected."

Regarding 5fad's artist Tang Jiali requesting Baidu to delete his photos, Roger Wu said there was still 37,000 of Tang's photo links on Baidu. Currently, 5fad's lawyer has requested Baidu disconnect all of Tang's photo links. If Baidu still insists on not deleting these photos, 5fad will prosecute Baidu for violations in photo searching.

So far, Baidu has not yet responded to this issue.
