World-class DIVING, RESORT & TRAVEL EXPO Revisits town on December 15-17

HONG KONG, Dec. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The annual highlight in town for diving enthusiasts and anyone with a passion for the underwater world, the Diving, Resort & Travel Expo ("DRT Show"), will be held from December 15 to 17 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. Over three days, a lineup of over 251 top-level exhibitors from 48 countries and regions including Europe, America, South Pacific and Asia, will be showcasing the latest diving equipment, water sports equipment, and dive resorts and travel information. Diving's spotlight event for 3 consecutive years

This is the third year the DRT Show taking place in Hong Kong, and it has become the most important and 'MUST VISIT' event in the diving industry in Asia. This year, the show will continue to build on its prior success with 100% grown in exhibitor and taking place at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. With the vast exhibiting area, exhibitor numbers double compared to last year, to 251 booths. DRT Show is expecting to have more than 20,000 visitors this year.

DRT Show is also promoting lifestyle travel. There is an increasing number of participating tourism boards from world-class diving destinations this year, such as Fiji, Maldives, Indonesia, Thailand, Palau, Philippines, Malaysia, and Australia. It will also be the first time for Japan, Brunei, Guam and Yap Island to participate alongside other exhibitors.

Underwater photo competition exhibition

The DRT Show 2012 will play host to the largest underwater photo competition in Asia Pacific, with the results being announced on the official website on December 15. All awarded pieces will be displayed during the show and the competition champion will be awarded US$30,000 worth of prizes.
