Perfect World’s ‘Perfect World II’ Receives Warm Market Response in Korea

BEIJING, Dec. 26 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Perfect World Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: PWRD) ("Perfect World" or the "Company"), a leading online game developer and operator in China, today announced that "Perfect World II" has been well received in Korea since it has been operated by CJ Internet Corporation (KOSDAQ: 037150) ("CJ Internet") beginning on October 23, 2007.

"Perfect World II," the Company’s first self-developed 3D MMORPG to be licensed overseas, has achieved broad recognition as the Company pursues active overseas licensing activities. Currently, "Perfect World II" has been licensed to more than ten countries and regions in the world. In the highly competitive Korean market, the game has ranked high in the Gametrics board with its fine picture and in-game enjoyment, so as to become one of the best new MMORPG games of 2007 in Korea.
