BEIJING, Jan. 18 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VisionChina Media Inc. (Nasdaq: VISN), one of China’s largest mass transportation mobile television advertising networks, today announced the promotion of Mr. Haijun Liu to chief development officer.

"We are very pleased to have Mr. Liu move into this key role on our management team," said Mr. Limin Li, VisionChina Media’s chairman and chief executive officer. "Since joining us in 2005, Mr. Liu has contributed significantly to VisionChina Media’s rapid growth as we’ve expanded our own network into 14 tier one and tier two cities, reaching 26 million viewers per day. His excellent execution capabilities and extensive experience working with our partner local TV stations and bus and subway operators will help us continue in our fast expansion of our network in China, especially as we prepare for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games."
