Nexmo Partners with YTL Communications to Offer First Cloud-Based, Two-Way Communications for Mobile Messaging and Voice Services in Malaysia

SAN FRANCISCO, June 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Nexmo, a leading cloud communication API company, today announced a strategic partnership with YTL Communications, a global frontrunner in mobile 4G, to make Yes the first mobile operator to offer cloud-based, two way communications, including SMS and virtual voice phone numbers, in the Malaysian market.

The Malaysian mobile market is experiencing exceptional growth, and powered by Nexmo's advanced infrastructure, the Nexmo – YTL Communications partnership marks the first virtual mobile phone number offering in Malaysia to cover both SMS and voice services. Other vendors can only provide such services separately.
