(Leisure) and 20th ITE MICE, will be held from June 12 to 15 in HKCEC with two
days each for trade and public.

Pre-pandemic ranked Asia's 3rd or 4th largest market, HK outbound fully

Used 5 halls same as in 2019; ITE2024 had 87% of its 515 exhibitors and 46%
of 7023 trade visitors from outsideHong Kong; 90% of 63027 public visitors
prefer FIT; among 68 exhibiting countries and regions, 36% from non-Asia!

The Greater Bay Area (Bay), which include China's top cities like Hong Kong,
Shenzhen and Guangzhou etc., contributed 74% of ITE's trade visitors while
another 10% from other parts ofChina. With a combined GDP of US$ 1.97 trillion
in 2023, the Bay would have ranked around world's 11th largest economy! Thus,
ITE covers major source markets.

ITE's B2B program includes Buyer-Meet-Seller though the main format
free-flow; speaking opportunity in seminars on selected topic (some with
translation service), assisting exhibitor to hold own trade seminar, and free
publicity pre-show and onsite.

Survey found public visitors travel frequently(b1), mature with 85% between
25 and 59; educated (51% university and 23% post-secondary); and 60% spending
more on outbound in 2024. With hundreds of exhibitors from abroad, ITE provides
these travel enthusiasts great shopping of outbound holidays.

Exhibitors welcome retailing to public visitors but shall check related laws!
For example, non-HK resident exhibitors entering by tourist visa cannot conduct
retailing activities in HK exhibitions. However, exhibitors can invite visitors
use mobile to scan special offer QR-code, book and pay entirely online
involving no cash which not against the law.

ITE's seminars are popular! Last year had 77 sessions drew nearly 7000
audiences and exhibitors welcome applying for free seminar session. TV host,
Jarvis Chow, whose seminar on Japan drew 500+ audiences in ITE2024, will speak
again in ITE2025. Plenty of fun in ITE which always filled with special
designed stands, cultural performances, chance to try national costume from
different destinations, mascot show, games, travel map and souvenirs etc.

spending more recovered than departure. However, outbound package tour recovery
far slower than market, which media, quoting industry source, reported in March

ITE Hong Kong 2022 Rescheduled to August - Better Timing for Tourism Recovery

HONG KONG, April 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Held successfully in July 2021, the
next ITE incorporates the 36th ITE (Leisure) and the 17th MICE Travel Expo will
be held from18-21 August 2022, instead of June due to the 5th COVID-19 wave, at
Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Organized by TKS,ITE is strongly
supported by Ministry of Culture and Tourism ofthe People's Republic of China
with Hong Kong Tourism Board etc. as supporters.

Occupied 5000 SQM of space, it drew over 100 exhibitors with two third from
outside, 2544 trade and 27106 public visitors. Though smaller, the hybrid and
multi-national ITE-2021 boost confidence and its successful practices and more
will be adopted in ITE-2022.

For examples, highlight Green, Outdoor and Glamping (Glamorous Camping),
theme restaurant and shop etc. Some 50 seminars held physically with some
live-streamed on Facebook while exhibitors also connected overseas speakers via
Zoom with onsite visitors.

Before the 5th wave, past and newly exhibiting national and regional tourism
boards and companies, for example, fromMainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan,
Thailand, Canada, Iceland and Europe, confirmed participations in ITE-2022. As
more destinations waive quarantine to fully vaccinated international travelers,
more enquiries expected.

Hong Kong emerges from the 5th wave, reporting on April 18 only 613 cases,
which is a drop of over 98% from 56827 cases on March 3. Also, Hong Kong from
April 1 lifted flight bans and shortened quarantine period for returning
vaccinated residents to 7 days. Earlier, Hong Kong residents made over 71000
departures in February, and 26000 departures with over 70% from the airport from
March 1 to 8.

In fact, online survey in ITE-2021 found strong pent-up travel demand.
Pre-pandemic,Hong Kong often ranked third in Asia by annual outbound spending
of over US$25 billion, and made annually over two million trips to Japan.

Thus, the organizer is confident to hold ITE-2022 in August, because various
signs above indicate itis a good timing for boosting tourism recovery. In any
case, exhibitors' payment will simply be carried forward and will not be
required to pay more for joining the postponed ITE.

Though smaller, ITE 2021 upheld quality! It drew 2544 trade/MICE visitors,

Hong Kong! The largest pavilions came from mainland China, Taiwan and Japan

Significantly,Hong Kong does not forbid citizens to go abroad.

In pre-pandemic 2019, Hong Kong spent US$26.9 billion on outbound travel and

HONG KONG, Sept. 29, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- With some 30000 trade and public
visitors and more overseas exhibitorscompared to local, ITE2021 was held
successfully in July amid closed borders. The next Hong Kong's only travel
fair, ITE, will be held from 9 to 12 June 2022.

Quality upheld in ITE2021 which drew 103 (675*) exhibitors with 64% (85%*)
from overseas; 2544 (11613*) trade and 27106 (73665*) public visitors; official

(*ITE 2019 figures)

There were vehicle display, specially designed stands with 3D photo spots,
regular zoom meetings where online speakers interact with onsite visitors, and
around 50 onsite seminarswith some live streamed on Facebook etc.

The Hong Kong market is big (world's 12th largest outbound spending US$26.9
billion in 2019) and safe (fewer than 12100 confirmed COVID-19 cases in total).
It is also part ofChina's Greater Bay Area with GDP of US$1.67 trillion in
2020, which is comparable with Canada, ranked 12th in world GDP ranking, with
GDP ofUS$1.60 trillion.

Significantly, ITE2021 online survey which received 4514 replies from public
visitors foundstrong pent up travel demand: 60% respondents maintain or
increase travel spendingin the coming year; over 80% pay more for safer holiday
and after restrictionsare lifted 21% will travel abroad within 1 month and
cumulatively 69% within 6 months.

Thus, Hong Kong is a priority source market to countries that re-open borders
to foreign tourists. ITE 2022, which incorporates the 36th ITE (Leisure) and
the 17th ITE MICE, is a timely and proven platform.

Done successfully this year, ITE2022 can offer international exhibitors /
advertisers services like zoomseminars before or during ITE to interact with
visitors at fairground; onsite seminars which can be live-streamed; broadcast
videos in dedicated seminar sessions; ad panel or shelf-help photo corner etc.
Also TKS the organizer will facilitate exhibitors to work with their local
office or agent to control the number of staff who is sent from abroad.

Again, ITE2022 will be eligible for the Convention & Exhibition subsidy by
the Hong Kong SAR Government. TKS will share it with exhibitors who confirm and
payby 30 December, 2021 can enjoy 20% discount on space rental and 10% discount
thereafter.
