Presented at Brazil's AgriShow, New Report Highlights Maturing Industry with
over 600,000 DJI Agricultural Drones Now Deployed in 100+ Countries and Regions.

SHENZHEN, China, April 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- DJI Agriculture, the global
leader in innovative agricultural drone technology, today unveiled its fifth
annual Agricultural Drone Industry Insight Report (2025/2026) at Agrishow 2026
in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. The report highlights how global policies are
trending toward liberalization, standardization, and strategic integration.
Meanwhile, DJI Agriculture strengthened its network of 3,500 service and repair
centers worldwide while advocating for standardized drone operations. By the
end of 2025, over 600,000 DJI agricultural drones were already in use globally
by more than 600,000 trained operators. The adoption of this technology has
saved approximately 410 million tons of water—equivalent to the annual drinking
water consumption of 740 million people—and cut carbon emissions by 51 million
tons, equal to the annual carbon absorption capacity of 240 million trees.

DJI Agriculture Drones Are Widely Used in Overseas Market

"Agricultural drones are no longer a novelty – they are essential farm
equipment worldwide. In Brazil, DJI Drones are now widely applied on the
country's major crops, including coffee, soybeans, corn, sugarcane, and forage
grass." said from Yuan Zhang, Head of Global Sales at DJI Agriculture, "As the
global adoption continues to grow, DJI Agriculture will continue to strengthen
our support network for operators while offering training through our global
network of over 7,000 certified instructors. These investments underscore the
company's commitment to helping farmers improve efficiency and sustainably
increase their yields through innovative drone technology."

Drone Seeding and Spraying Elevates Pasture Production and Sustainability in
Brazil
The report presents several case studies on the use cases of agricultural
drones for various crops in different countries. In Brazil, farmers have
deployed DJI Agras T25P, T70P, and T100 agricultural drones to cover full-cycle
precision operations in forage management, lifting forage renewal efficiency
and pasture productivity. For example, using drones to more precisely
spot-spray weed patches can reduce herbicide use by up to 35%. Simultaneously,
full-process drone spraying and seeding also offer environmental protection
benefits by eliminating soil compaction, reducing chemical drift near sensitive
ecosystems, and lowering the carbon footprint of livestock farming.

Improved Field Trials and Academic Studies Driving More Compliant Field
Operations
The report also documents several new field trials and academic studies
offering credible, evidence-based validation of the advantages of agricultural
spraying drones in precision application, operational efficiency, economic
benefits, and sustainability. Simultaneously, organizations such as UAPASTF
developed guidelines for the safe and effective application of pesticides,
informed by updated drone field-drift studies. Better drift testing enables
more precise, safer, and more compliant field operations, making it a key
enabler of precision agriculture and environmentally responsible crop
protection.

These studies have helped drive more evidence-based policies and market
developments worldwide, which is further fueling the rapid global expansion of
the agricultural drone industry. For example, ANAC (the National Civil Aviation
Agency of Brazil) updated its drone regulations to establish "standard
scenarios" for recurring agricultural operations. In Canada, Transport Canada's
regulatory amendments to the Canadian Aviation Regulations have simplified
operational rules for agricultural drones, directly supporting spraying,
mapping, monitoring, and precision farming.

As the industry continues to mature worldwide, DJI Agriculture aims to
provide farmers and policymakers with a clearer view of how agricultural drones
deliver measurable environmental value and open new pathways for global
agricultural modernization.

DJI Redefines Aerial Delivery with DJI FlyCart 100

"DJI continues to innovate to meet industry needs. Even in the early days of
aerial delivery, our advanced civilian drone technology has become the trusted
solution globally for emergency response, construction, and supply chain
logistics – from transporting air tanks and trash on Mount Everest to
delivering emergency supplies after the devastating floods," says Hao Jin, the
Head of DJI Delivery Sales at DJI. "With the next-generation DJI FC100, we
built a drone that can deliver more – in payload capacity, endurance, and
safety - and support more applications across more industries."

Greater Payload Capacity Up to 100 kg (Max Takeoff Weight Up to 170 kg )

The FC100 is designed to operate in the most challenging environments,
climbing mountains and over rivers, lakes, and bays. Building on its
predecessor's coaxial four-axis, eight-blade, multi-rotor configuration, the
FC100 features an optimized wing design, 62-inch carbon fiber propellers, and
larger motors with more torque. With these improvements, it can carry up to 65
kg payloads for 12 km with the dual-battery configuration – a significant
improvement from 30 kg. Similarly, with the emergency single-battery
configuration, it can now carry up to 80 kg for 6 km, compared to 40 kg.

Ultra-Fast Charging

The FC100's Energy System now supports ultra-fast charging with a C12000
charger or D14000iE generator. Combined with the dual battery hot-swapping and
battery redundancy design, operations can continue uninterrupted. Each 41Ah
battery can be heated through the DJI Battery Incubator to ensure optimal
performance in cold weather. The batteries can work with various chargers
indoors and outdoors.

New Flagship Winch System

The FC100 features the new Flagship Winch System, which is equipped with an
electric hook for more efficient loading and unloading. The winch features a
30-meter cable, offering both automatic and manual release and retrieval
options. It can also maintain a retractable speed of1.2 m/s when handling heavy
loads, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.

Improved Operational Safety for Multiple Scenarios

The FC100's Intelligent Safety System is equipped with multiple sensors,
including high-precision LiDAR for terrain mapping, millimeter-wave Radar for
all-around detection, and a penta-vision system for better environmental
awareness. It also features an integrated parachute that can be opened in an
emergency to effectively slow down the touchdown speed to7m/s and minimize the
risk to people and property. Featuring a water- and dust-resistant IP55 rating,
the FC100 can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 40°C, withstand
winds of up to12 m/s, and fly at altitudes of up to 6,000 meters.

Stay in Control with the DJI Delivery App and the DJI DeliveryHub

The all-new DJI Delivery App enables pilots to operate the FC100 with their
controller, featuring new features such as A-B Route Operation Mode and AR
Display. They can also view the drone's real-time flight status and cargo
transport details from the streamlined interface. Meanwhile, DJI DeliveryHub
serves as a one-stop air delivery management platform, facilitating efficient
multi-platform collaboration. It supports efficient operation planning,
comprehensive operation status monitoring, centralized team resource
management, and data collection and analysis. FC100 can be customized to
support PSDK and high-power interfaces for third-party payloads.

SHENZHEN, China, Nov. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- DJI, the global leader in civil
drones and creative camera technology, today published a new DJI Enterprise
case study demonstrating how DJI Docks and 3D models are transforming
construction surveying and project management. The case focuses on Hyundai
Engineering and Construction's Namyangju Wangsuk Relocation Project inSouth
Korea.

DJI Dock 3 Transform Hyundai E&C’s Namyangju Wangsuk Relocation Project in
South Korea

Hyundai E & C is setting a new benchmark for smart construction at scale with
the help of DJI Docks, DJI's drone–in–a–box enterprise solution. When
completed, the Namyangju Wangsuk Relocation Project will be the nation's first
stacked underground road, featuring an upper underpass and a lower tunnel
spanning 6.4 kilometers. Costing an estimated 1 trillion KRW, the site has been
described as the single largest civil engineering project in Korea, requiring
tightly integrated coordination among construction, scheduling, safety, and
quality.

Throughout the relocation process, demolition and construction progressed
almost in parallel. Drones were essential for site surveying, providing
critical intel for deciding when and where crews should be mobilized and
informing construction planning. Before automated aerial missions were
possible, drone operations were manual and labor-intensive: dedicated staff
needed to be on-site to manage charging, transporting, flying, and data
storage. That changed when DJI Docks was integrated into daily workflows. After
a few initial tests, it became clear that automated flights enabled real-time
site monitoring, saving time and labor.

Flexible Deployments, More Efficient Workflows

Installed onsite, DJI Docks allow operators to plan missions remotely,
schedule flights, and pilot docked drones on demand. For Hyundai E&C, this
enabled teams to automate their charging-to-flight workflows while streamlining
their data gathering and analysis into a unified platform. Teams can now
collect site data every two weeks, enabling more accurate prioritization,
scheduling, and issuance of subcontract work orders. The shared data
environment reduces the need for frequent in-person meetings. Instead, teams
can check updates and collaborate directly.

3D Models Streamline Progress Tracking and Verification

Another key shift has been the move from 2D CAD quantity takeoffs to 3D
model-driven verification. Drone-derived measurements feed directly into volume
calculations, which are cross-checked against 2D designs for accuracy. Multiple
design layers are overlaid on current site conditions, allowing each discipline
to review the information they need and plan efficiently. This has streamlined
progress reporting: instead of manually marking up photos, teams now overlay
official design drawings to compare planned and actual conditions with high
precision. For on-site execution, this approach supports reliable quantity
estimation, weekly and monthly progress tracking, and verification that
construction matches design intent.

Automation Driving Smarter Construction

Automated site monitoring with DJI Docks covers the entire 6.4 km corridor,
including hard-to-access zones, improving efficiency and reducing manual
workload. Leaders at the site anticipate that these systems will expand rapidly
across the industry. Hyundai E&C's recent smart construction technology
demonstrations at the same project—featuring digital twin dashboards,
autonomous drones, robotics, and smart safety solutions—underscore this
momentum and point to a broader transformation in field operations.

Zenmuse L3 Launches as DJI's First Long-Range, High-Accuracy Aerial LiDAR
System

Focusing on higher accuracy and wider visibility, the Zenmuse L3 marks a
breakthrough for DJI in long-range, high-accuracy LiDAR that will no doubt
advance and transform the geospatial industry globally. With this new
innovation, DJI aims to expand the adoption of high-end aerial surveying LiDAR
technology to more enterprise applications from topographic survey, emergency
response, historical conservation, energy infrastructure inspections, and
forestry.

High-Accuracy 1535 nm LiDAR and Proprietary High-Accuracy System

Zenmuse L3's LiDAR system achieves a detection range of 950 m at a pulse rate
of 100 kHz, tested under 100 klx ambient light and on objects with 10%
reflectivity. This pulse rate is adjustable, allowing for flexible power output
and optimal adaptation to various operational scenarios.

The self-developed LiDAR delivers ranging repeatability of 5 mm at 150 m
(1σ) and supports microsecond-level time synchronization. Mapping projects at
scales of 1:500, 1:1000, and 1:2000 can be supported thanks to significant
improvements in vertical accuracy (3 cm at120 m, 5 cm at 300 m, and 10 cm at
500 m). It can accurately detect smaller objects, such as power lines and
branches, with a laser beam divergence of just 0.25 mrad (1/e²) – the spot size
at the same range is approximately one-fifth that of the Zenmuse L2.

Dual 100MP RGB Mapping Camera System

Equipped with dual 100MP 4/3 CMOS RGB sensors and a mechanical shutter,
Zenmuse L3 delivers significantly enhanced accuracy and efficiency. It can
achieve a ground sample distance (GSD) of 3 cm, even at a flight altitude of300
m. Additionally, the dual RGB mapping cameras offer a horizontal field of view
(FOV) of up to 107°, enabling each capture to cover a broader area.

High Pulse Rate and Multiple Returns for Superior Penetration Capability

Highly accurate spatial reconstructions can be generated with its maximum
laser pulse emission frequency of 2 million points per second and support for
up to 16 returns. With significant hardware improvements, Zenmuse L3 now
supports a Star-Shaped scanning mode that balances accuracy with multiple
scan angles. The penetration capability is especially well-suited for terrain
mapping such as dense forests and urban environments, capturing more ground
points with greater completeness, significantly improving the accuracy and
integrity of terrain data for precise surface fitting and reconstruction.

High Efficiency, Covering up to 100 km² Per Day

When mounted on the DJI Matrice 400, Zenmuse L3 delivers outstanding
efficiency. At a typical flight altitude of300 m, a single flight can cover up
to 10 km2, enabling up to 100 km² of daily coverage. Moreover, it can capture
LiDAR and RGB data simultaneously to generate a range of mapping
deliverables from a single flight, including digital orthophoto maps (DOM) and
digital elevation models (DEM), and more – even despite a 20% LiDAR side
overlap ratio.

Seamless End-to-End Solution

Zenmuse L3 seamlessly integrates with DJI's ecosystem to deliver an
end-to-end mapping solution. This includes the D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station,
DJI Pilot 2, DJI Terra, DJI Modify and DJI FlightHub 2. From data acquisition
and processing to application, this unified workflow is simpler to operate and
easier to master than traditional multi-platform setups, helping users
efficiently complete a wide range of mapping tasks.

use the DJI Dock to plan missions remotely, scheduling flights, and pilot the
docked drones on‑demand. It also provides a step-by-step breakdown on how to
automate data processing for existing photogrammetry software with FlightHub 2.
For example, automated volumetric measurements of ore stockpile inventory can
be conducted via geotechnical models.
* Regulatory Navigation and Operational Infrastructure: The White Paper
explains how to navigate regulatory requirements for scaling responsibility.
This covers licensing pathways for requirements such as Remote Pilot License
(RePL), BVLOS approvals, Outside Controlled Airspace (OCTA), Instrument Rating
Examination (IREX), and Specific Operation Risk Assessment (SORA) based BVLOS
approvals, Remote Operating Centre (ROC) certification and Human-Machine
Interface (HMI) design. It also outlines essential processes, including
redundancy and fatigue management, emergency drills, and stakeholder engagement
for complex airspace. DJI Docks Drives Increase in Productivity for Mining
Operations

By implementing an automated mining workflow using the DJI Dock, mining
operations can achieve an increase in productivity when compared to manual
drone flights and data processing. The improved efficiency is mainly due to the
elimination of traveling to the inspection site, on-site staffing of drone
pilots, and redundant photogrammy processing tasks. Tests found that the time
required to capture and process a post-blast photogrammy survey fell from 1.2
hours to 30 minutes. With a single DJI Dock, remote pilots working eight hour
shifts could perform approximately 150-200 flights (up to 50 flight hours) per
month. Meanwhile, automated ground control points (GCP) markings further saved
as much as 94% of time in data processing. This allowed for trigger-based data
captures for If This Than That (IFTTT) processing and reporting when changes or
objects were detected.

Automation Enhances Worker Safety in Mining Operations

Mine sites are inherently hazardous with operations involving large mobile
machinery, open voids, blasting activities, and much more. Automated workflows
enable operators to conduct more frequent inspections while working safely at a
Remote Operations Center (ROC) — away from pit faces, blast zones, and tailing
and hypersaline pipelines. Operationally, blast movements can be quickly
analyzed for safer restarts with automated workflows. Likewise, repeatable
surveys and inspections can be performed more frequently. When paired with
intelligent analysis and alerts, operators can ensure assets and pipelines stay
in working condition, environmental compliance requirements are met after rain
events, and infrastructure development progresses properly.

Case Studies for Implementing Automated Mining Workflows at Scale

The White Paper features two case studies documenting the best practices of
two Australian mining operations. At Rio Tinto's Gudai‑Darri iron ore mine in
the Pilbara region, the resilience of automated drone operations were
demonstrated under extreme heat, dust, and cyclone‑prone conditions. Not only
did this improve worker safety and operational efficiency, it also enabled
data‑driven decision‑making through remotely monitored flights and automatic
recharging. At the Paddington Operations in Kalgoorlie, the DJI Dock was used
to conduct aerial surveys of post-blast muckpiles. With AI-driven modeling,
operators could improve grade control, reduce ore dilution and lower processing
costs by sending higher‑quality ore to the processing plant.

SHENZHEN, China, May 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As wildfires intensify across the
U.S., the urgency to respond faster and more effectively is rising. InVentura
County, California, where extreme weather and low humidity have turned wildfire
season into a year-round battle, firefighters are facing larger, faster-moving
blazes than ever before.

Ventura County Firefighters Are Transforming Wildfire Response with DJI Drones

To meet this challenge, the Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD) is turning
to drone technology to gain an edge - not just during active fires, but across
every stage of the firefighting mission. "Drones have become a force multiplier
in the fire service," saidSean Ameche, Fire Captain of the Ventura County Fire
Department.

Beyond the Blaze: Drones in the Mop-Up Phase

While drone technology plays a growing role in active fire response
<https://viewpoints.dji.com/blog/dji-drones-enhance-u.s.-public-safety-operations>
, its impact doesn't end when the flames are contained. InVentura County,
they've become indispensable in the next and equally critical stage: mop-up.
This involves locating and extinguishing lingering hotspots that could reignite
if left unchecked.

Traditionally, the mop-up phase has been a slow, labor-intensive process,
requiring firefighters to walk large areas of scorched terrain for days. Now,
with aerial thermal imaging and automated mapping, the VCFD can do the same
work faster, safer, and with far greater precision.

Using the DJI Matrice 4T <https://enterprise.dji.com/matrice-4-series>, the
VCFD has transformed how it approaches post-fire operations. The drone's stable
performance in high winds, paired with thermal and zoom cameras, allows crews
to detect even the smallest heat signatures - sometimes as small as a cigarette
butt - and guide ground teams directly to those locations. Meanwhile, its laser
rangefinder ensures accurate positioning, while its ability to operate day or
night delivers real-time aerial insights whenever needed. "Drones have provided
us an invaluable tool with firefighting around the clock. It allows us to look
at things through the night-time hours where we previously would not have
manned aircraft," saidJimmy Hidalgo, Fire Captain of Ventura County Fire
Department.

From Planning to Action

For the VCFD, mop-up is a structured, three-phase process: mission planning,
data collection, and analysis.

It begins with defining a mapping area based on the fire's perimeter and
terrain. From there, the drone executes an automated flight path to collect
both visual and thermal imagery. Once the data is collected, it's processed
using tools likeNova Maps <https://www.mapnova.com/> to produce stitched aerial
visuals and real-time hotspot analysis.

This process gives both command staff and field crews a unified picture of
where to focus their efforts, helping to confirm that containment lines are
holding - and that the fire is truly out.

Nick Cleary, the Division Chief of the Ventura County Fire Department, said
that: "It's a game changer. Years ago, we were working off paper maps, and now,
on your mobile device, at your fingertips, you have real-time information."

Real-Time Mapping, Real-World Impact

During the Kenneth Fire earlier this year, the VCFD used drones to map the
fire perimeter and locate residual hotspots near homes. The drones allowed
safe, stable flight over uneven terrain, even in winds exceeding 30 miles per
hour, guiding firefighters directly to remaining threats.

Post-mission, the thermal and visual images were processed into georeferenced
maps, giving teams a reliable view of the fire's status as the situation
evolved.

Beyond Wildfires: Versatility in the Field

Drones are also proving useful in emergencies beyond wildland fires. During a
night-time HAZMAT incident, the VCFD used theDJI Mavic 3T
<https://enterprise.dji.com/mavic-3-enterprise>'s zoom camera and spotlight to
assess the scene before deploying an entry team.

This aerial reconnaissance helped responders to assess the amount and type of
material on site and identify potential hazards, without putting personnel at
unnecessary risk.

Looking Ahead: The Next Chapter in Aerial Response

Recently, the Ventura County Fire Department logged more than 320 miles of
drone flight during a single month of wildfire operations - a reflection of how
integral drones have become to modern firefighting. As adoption continues to
grow, the department is also exploring new capabilities likeVirtual Cockpit
<https://enterprise-insights.dji.com/blog/dji-flighthub-2-virtual-cockpit-now-available>
and testing Drone as First Responder (DFR) technology to provide even faster
support across a broader range of emergencies.

Whether it's containing an active blaze, securing an area during mop-up, or
safely assessing hazardous sites, drones are helping the VCFD work faster, stay
safer, and act with greater confidence. "We're not only fighting fires
differently, we're seeing them differently." Fire CaptainSean Ameche said.

At DJI, we're proud to support the firefighters and emergency teams leading
the way, inVentura County and beyond.

DJI Agriculture Drone T50 and T25

"Agricultural drones have become essential farm equipment around the world.
Thanks to research-based policies and a clearer process for operator training,
adoption among young people and women has grown significantly," stated Yuan
Zhang, Head of Global Sales at DJI Agriculture. "As the industry continues to
mature globally, DJI Agriculture remains steadfast in our mission to help
farmers improve efficiency and sustainably increase their yields through
innovative drone technology."

Research-based policies accelerating adoption

Agricultural drone usage continued to expand throughout 2024. Some countries
are transitioning from limited testing to formal application, while others are
expanding from single-crop applications to broader applications across various
crops. This is largely thanks to smarter rules by local aviation authorities.
For example, Argentina reduced restrictions for drone deployment in
agricultural areas, while Spain simplified the approval process for using
agricultural drones. At the same time, some countries, like Brazil, have
further standardized the process for pilot training, thereby making it easier
for people to operate spray drones legally.

DJI Agriculture advances anti-drift features and design for spray drones

Limiting drifting continues to be a challenge for pesticide application
across all methods: spray drones, traditional aircraft, and ground-based
equipment. However, DJI Agriculture has optimized its drone's nozzle design and
airflow dynamics following extensive drifting tests conducted in collaboration
with various global partners from 2021 to 2024. The company has also shared
best practices for minimizing drift, including recommended low wind speed
conditions, appropriate flight altitudes, and droplet sizes based on different
pesticides and field conditions.

Case studies for spraying, spreading, and orchard management

DJI's Agricultural Drone Industry Insight Report features several new case
studies for spraying and spreading applications for corn, coffee beans, canola,
sunflowers, rice, bananas, and vineyards.

* Growing Coffee in Brazil with Drones: Using the DJI Agras T40 and Agras T50
drones to apply pesticides, fungicides, and foliar fertilizers, operational
costs for coffee bean growers were reduced by 70% compared to manual spraying
and 50% compared to tractor spraying.
* Best Practices Rice Spreading with Drones: Working with rice farmers around
the globe, DJI has documented several considerations for spreading rice. This
includes adjusting flight altitude and the spreading disk speed based on route
spacing, using a tractor to level and measure a terrain's height variations,
and ensuring pre-germinated rice seeds do not exceed 3 mm.
* Transforming Vineyard Management in Romania: With the DJI Agras T50, an
elderly vineyard owner reduced his chemical usage by half, from 241.64 liters
to 111.94 liters. Instead of spending 3-4 days spraying, he only needed 2.5
hours. He could more effectively treat the crops on his sloped terrain with a
spray drone, even after rain, than with a traditional tractor. Read the full
