About Rong Bao Zhai <\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Rong Bao Zhai is a comprehensive cultural enterprise earning its credibility by marketing Chinese painting and calligraphy. Rong Bao Zhai, formerly known as Song Zhu Zhai, is a brand established in 1672 (the eleventh year of Kangxi reign in the Qing dynasty) famous for its South Paper in the Qianlong reign. In 1894, Song Zhu Zhai set up a branch named Rong Bao Zhai to house old and new friends with reputation who are passionate about art. As early as in 1987, Rong Bao Zhai has a branch established in Hong Kong that made a success as an influential cultural enterprise, which initiated the very first auction on Chinese painting and calligraphy in the city in 1989 with a sales amounted as high as HKD 18,000,000. The re-launch of the Hong Kong branch gallery will share the glory of Rong Bao Zhai to international audiences, and having the 10,000 feet showroom with a touch of modern simplicity and openness, visitors and guests will find the space most accommodating to appreciate Chinese painting and calligraphy. Whereas the masterpiece Refreshing Lotus after Rain painted by Master Huang Youngyu sitting at the center stage of the gallery symbolizing vibrancy and integrity of the brand serves best to describe the prosperity of the business to be flourished.<\/p>\r\n

Master Fan Yang Celebrates the Re-launch<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

At the opening, the renowned artist, Associate Dean of the China National Academy of Painting, Mr. Fan Yang will inaugurate his solo exhibition of more than 60 paintings on various themes and subjects -- including character portraits, landscapes, floral and birds. The use of colours and spectacular compositions in the masterpieces show the painter's character with boldness yet also with elegance, who skillfully applied traditional painting to convey innovations and modernity. There will be 20 limited edition replicas of 12 of Master Fan's paintings produced by Rong Bao Zhai with the reprinting and mounting expertise exhibited, which all specially signed and sealed by the painter as high valued collectibles.<\/p>\r\n

About Master Fan Yang<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Fan Yang, born in Hong Kong, is a famous contemporary painter graduating from School of Fine Arts of Nanjing Normal University. He was the former director, doctoral supervisor and professor of Nanjing Normal University of painting department. Now he serves as Associate Dean of the Institute of Chinese Traditional Painting, Director of the China National Painting Academy Landscape Painter Institute and Dean of Nanjing Academy of Painting under the State Council. Mr. Fan, an expert in traditional Chinese panting, draws figures, birds, flowers, and landscapes. His character masterpiece named \"Volunteering\" is among collections from the National Art Museum of China. His landscape paintings boast simplicity and profoundness. In recent years, the artist has been engaging in landscape painting and has developed unique style.<\/p>\r\n
