XPRN Annual Training Programme Launched in August

August 1 Morning, a new face appeared in the XPRN Beijing Office—Joe Carlone came all the way from New York—the headquarter of PR Newswire. After more than 10-hour flight, he, with two cups of thick coffee, still looked dashing.

All the employees from Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing gathered together in the Beijing office, ready to get the 4-days training. This time, Joe mainly focused on PR Newswire’s business in Asian market. Not only did he introduce the business model and the history of development of PR Newswire in depth, but also gave a detailed introduction to and demonstration of the new products that are going to be introduced to Asian market such as eWatch, ProfNet, Image distribution.

Due to some characteristics of PR newswire’s service, such as the information explosion in the process of distribution and monitoring, the abstractness of the concept of certain products and the involvement of a lot of detailed work in the workflow, not to mention the uniqueness of Chinese market, this kind of face-to-face interactive communication and demonstration indeed facilitated the sales team’s understanding of the products and the Q&A session solved a lot of problems put forward by and questions raised among the sales people to ensure the clients would be professionally and thoughtfully served.

The training went really great with a lot of hot debates going on from time to time. Since it was Joe’s first visit to China, the employees here in China took him to the Great Wall and some Chinese resturants to have a taste of the Chinese food.
