FRANKFURT, Germany, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "Soaring Creativity – Frankfurt Book Fair 2018" is co-organized by Hong Kong Publishing Federation and The Hong Kong Printers Association, sponsored by Create Hong Kong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and supported by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Berlin). The Hong Kong Pavilion Launch Cocktail Party was held today (10 October 2018) at Messe Frankfurt Hall 4.0, Stand A12 to mark the official opening.

Mr. Matthew Yum, Chairman of "Hong Kong Pavilion" in the Frankfurt Book Fair 2018 expressed his honor of joining the world's largest book copyright negotiation and Chinese and English copyright exchange exhibition, and showing the creativity and success of Hong Kong's publishing and printing industries to more than 7,400 exhibitors from different countries.

A business networking program is added this year to help the exhibitors expand their business network by reaching their target group in Germany local market and grow their professional skills. And there is a dedicated zone with the theme "Exploring Hong Kong", which centrally displayed publications from Hong Kong publishers related to Hong Kong. The unique sceneries of Hong Kong also inspired our booth decoration's drawings.

Highly appreciated by the visitors last year, the "Creative Corner" will continue to be the highlight this year, with the theme "Multimedia". It focuses on books and printed materials that incorporate various types of media and technologies, successful cases of VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) applied in publishing and printing as well as other creative technologies.

Free tasting of "Hong Kong-Style Egg Waffle" will be served to the guests in designated hours during the book fair to bring the traditional and irresistible taste of Hong Kong snacks to visitors from all over the world.

To further promote the cultural and creativity exchanges between Hong Kong and Germany, the organizers will donate some of the exhibited publications to the International Youth Library upon the completion of the Frankfurt Book Fair 2018.
