Bank Central Asia Invests in Digital Consumer Experience, Powered by Sitecore®

JAKARTA, Indonesia, June 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sitecore®, the global leader in experience management software, has announced that Bank Central Asia has gone live with the Sitecore® Experience Platform. This is part of an investment to provide customers with a personalised digital web banking experience.

Bank Central Asia is one of the leading private banks in Indonesia, the country's biggest lender by market value and the second largest bank by assets. Bank Central Asia is focusing on business banking transactions, credit loan facilities, and financial solutions for the corporate, commercial and SME, as well as individual customers through its 1,000-plus branches across the country. 

The bank's new web site, which went live earlier this year, replaces a static website based on EMC Documentum technology. Its previous model was difficult to manage with content updates requiring manual, cumbersome and time consuming processes.

Sitecore went live following a seamless four month migration process. It is now effectively tracking website traffic as well as the impact and effectiveness of different web banner advertisements through web clicks. At the same time, Sitecore is able to identify customer journeys through the bank's different website pages.

This latest deployment of Sitecore to power the bank's main customer facing website follows the initial successful deployment of Sitecore for the organisation's Prioritas Portal. The bank also plans to add additional websites to the Sitecore platform in the future.
