LONDON, April 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- In anticipation of Angelina Hubertus' Europe debut and her winners' award ceremony of Grand Prize Virtuoso International Piano Competition, Angelina Hubertus just had a special piano solo performance at the most prestigious concert venue in the world, Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. The Royal Albert Hall, opened by Queen Victoria in London, England in 1871, is one of the world's most treasured venues.

Masters from all over the world want to perform at the Albert Hall, and she did it at nine years old. For this show, Angelina performed from memory Haydn's "Piano Sonata No. 10 in C Major Hob.XVI:1."

Franz Jospher Haydn (1732-1809) was a prominent and prolific Austrian composer and one of the cornerstones of the Classical Period of Music. The piece that Angelina chose to perform, "Piano Sonata No. 10 in C Major," was created during the transitional period from Baroque Music to Classical Music; it has both simplicity and complexity such that one can imagine that music could have continued on this very viable path of evolution. London audiences have been very familiar with Haydn since 1782, when Haydn's music dominated the concert scene in there. "Hardly a concert did not feature a work by him in London," said Haydn's biographer, Georg Griesinger. He spent a lot of time in London after his first visit on the New Year's Day of 1791. Musically, Haydn's visits to England generated some of his best-known works. According to Griesinger, "Haydn considered the days spent in England the happiest of his life. He was everywhere appreciated there; it opened a new world to him."

For this bright and cheerful piece, Angelina's playing is outstanding for her crystalline brilliance and musicianship, springy rhythms, lively tempos and integral handling of ornamentation. No detail is obscured. Angelina's fluency amazes but is never ostentatious. The pianissimo phrases are delicately colored, and there's never a hint of indulgence. The majority of Haydn's sonatas are bright with his unique joy, humor and open-hearted delight. Such qualities are dazzlingly articulated by Angelina. She just lets Haydn do the talking.

Angelina has some big music dreams- of touring around the world playing piano, sharing her passion and talent, and inspiring people around the world through music. She feels like she has a purpose in life. "I am thrilled to have this opportunity to play at the Royal Albert Hall. I also had a lot of fun in London with my Mom and Dad during the Easter holiday. Hopefully one day I will play at Mozarteum in Vienna. I would love to play all over the world." Last year, before Christmas, she played at Carnegie Hall as a winner of American Protege's International's Music Talent Competition in New York City. And she has two piano solos in a roll this year to play at Carnegie Hall again. One is on Apr 23rd and another one is on July 3rd.

Her piano teacher, Mrs. Tatiana Kunik from Stamford, said: "She definitely has a great talent for music. She is not nervous at all. She is not perfect yet, but if she continues making effort and keeps her passion, she will, for sure, have a great future."

Her mother, Mrs. Linda Hubertus, also said that she always tries to be supportive instead of being pushy. "I have never made Angelina do anything she doesn't want to do. She is just naturally bright, was born with a gift. She has great concentration, determination, is autonomous... She loves the music, and has strong desire to make it perfect. She also loves math, tennis, basketball, ice skating and swimming. She has a very colorful and well-balanced life and is developed all-around."

Her proud dad, Mr. Gregory Hubertus, added: "It's amazing; we're really happy about it. She did flawlessly this time, performing solo at the world's most prestigious music hall. It's a great opportunity for her. We still can't believe it."
