WUHAN, China, Oct. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Infinitus (China) Co., Ltd., a member of LKK Health Products Group, in association with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, officially launched the Joint Laboratory for the Research of Modern Preparation Technology - Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Infinitus ("Joint Laboratory") in Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei province, on October 20, 2016. The Joint Laboratory will provide consumers with new experiences by delivering Chinese herbal health product formulations with a refined taste and higher absorption rate of active ingredients.
Most of the Chinese herbal health products currently available in the market are delivered in capsules or oral liquids, increasing the potential for improving the taste and making it convenient for delivery. The Joint Laboratory was established with the aim of significantly improving the dosage forms and the taste of existing Chinese herbal health products through the application of innovative technologies. The lab expects to be able to provide consumers with healthier products and a better experience by transforming the products into forms like a delicious chocolate bar or a chewable piece of soft candy.
Additionally, the lab plans to conduct research on new excipients, processes and formulations in an effort to address the potential bottlenecks in the application of Chinese herbal health products, including poor absorption of certain active ingredients, the necessity for high dosages and the lack of customized services, as well as make full use of new Chinese herbal health product preparation technologies to improve the consumer experience.
