International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) poised for further growth and expansion in Malaysia and Indonesia

PETALING JAYA, Malaysia, March 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Early childhood education experts from Malaysia and Indonesia gathered together to attend the signing ceremony celebrating the emergence of an exclusive licensee of the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) for Malaysia and Indonesia.

A thirteenth license holder around the world, Little Uns Sdn Bhd, which is a collaboration between the HELP Education Group and OSK, has been awarded the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) exclusive distribution rights for both Malaysia and Indonesia.

The HELP Education Group, OSK and IPC are committed to raising the standards of early childhood education in Malaysia and Indonesia to an international level and equipping students in these markets with the tools necessary to meet the 21st century demand, through an innovative local approach.

During the last two weeks, members of IPC's Executive Board partnered with Little Uns to showcase the benefits of the IPC in the Malaysian and Indonesian markets.  Those who attended received information of the IPC's international research, inquiry, objective and play-based curriculum, and were briefed on the benefits of acquiring the IPC, including how the teaching material provided by the IPC will set schools apart from the rest in their local areas. The IPC's teacher training course, and explanation on the benefits of having teachers trained in ECE best practices were also presented.

As an International Preschool Curriculum Exclusive License holder, educators at IPC Malaysia and Indonesia schools will teach students using the IPC's 56 thematic unit curriculum. Within each unit are activities encompassing the IPC's six trans-disciplinary content learning areas, including language arts, socio-emotional skills, numeracy, creative and visual arts, sciences and fine and gross motor skills. IPC schools will receive content that not only has already been researched and prepared, but also includes learning objectives and assessments to monitor student levels. This saves teachers immense amounts of time, saves school owners money, and leaves more time for students to learn effectively.
