JustDating Survey: Indonesians already meet up with their dating partners on dating applications when they are 21 years old in average

JAKARTA, Indonesia, Oct. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Nowadays, emerging technologies and mobile phones help a lot of people to make new friends and to find their true love. A dating app, JustDating, conducted a survey on the online dating environment in Indonesia and found out that Indonesian men can accept partners that are either younger or older than themselves, while Indonesian women can only accept partners that are older than themselves.

According to JustDating statistics, Indonesian men start to meet women on dating apps at the age of 21, while women start to meet at the age of 22. Compared with other Southeast Asian countries, average age to start meeting partners on dating apps is 21 both in Malaysia and Indonesia, 23 in Singapore and 19 in Taiwan.

Data from the survey conducted by JustDating also shows that 80% of Indonesian men, who used dating apps to find their love, were not shy to ask their partner for the second date, but Singaporean and Taiwanese men usually hesitated to ask their partner for the second date.

JustDating also compared data about Android and iPhone users and concluded that iPhone users are more likely to find partners on dating apps. It also found out that 73% of users who are more likely to remain in relationship after the first date are iPhone users.
