Tongji MBA Program Takes First Place in the Fourth China Management Case Competition, East China Region

SHANGHAI, July 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The qualifying matches of the Fourth China Management Case Competition, East China region, kicked off in Nanjing, China, on July 9, 2016. During the one-day competition, the first team representing Tongji SEM's MBA program distinguished itself among 18 teams from 11 MBA institutions, winning the title and successfully entering the national finals. The second team representing the university's MBA program won the Best Sunrise Award. In addition, Qiu Canhua, assistant professor and instructor at Tongji SEM, won the Best Instructor Award.

The China Management Case Competition, co-sponsored by the China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee, the China Management Case-sharing Center, the China Management Case Center Alliance and the Management Case Study Committee of the Chinese Society for Management Modernization, aims at improving the analytical, decision-making and professional skills of MBA students through discussions on social and economic hot issues and simulation of real business wars, serving to further promote development of the country's management case teaching and research efforts.

The Tongji MBA program, launched in 1993, has been accredited by the three largest and most influential international business school accreditation associations, AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, as well as by the Chinese CAMEA accreditation authority.
