- Concept of Exhibition, Titled "Impressionisti," Is "Flower-like Woman x Handmade Japanese Paper" -
TOKYO, Oct. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- "hair&makeup IDEA," based in Tokyo, opened an exhibition of photographs printed on handmade Japanese paper in Taipei on October 23 for a run through October 26. The concept of the exhibition, titled "Impressionisti," is "Flower-like woman x handmade Japanese paper." Fusing the three cultures of "handmade Japanese paper," "photography" and "beauty care," the exhibition seeks to realize a word of photography looking like a beautiful painting.

It will exhibit 21 works in total, including those exhibited as "Cool Japan" content at Japan Salone of the Milan World Expo in 2015 and photos taken after that. These works exhibited in Milan were given high marks as "impressive" and "gentle and beautiful." It will be the first time for these works to be displayed in Asia.
The exhibition hall in Taipei will be arranged in such a way as to create space of healing by combining aroma, which imagines flowers and trees as well as Japanese paper, and newly composed background music.
